Horan, Perry Get Their Points Across

Life for West Point cadets is not easy.

Students at the prestigious military academy have a regimented schedule that includes four and a half hours of classes starting at 7:30 a.m. followed by an hour of military training or lab work and then more classes in the afternoon.

Still, two locals have managed to make time for their athletic endeavors, excelling on the Black Knights' volleyball team this season.

Sophomore outside hitter Nicole Perri, a Panas graduate, and senior right-side hitter Kerry Horan, a Croton-Harmon graduate, rank third (191) and fourth (159), respectively, on West Point in kills through 21 matches.
