WEST POINT, N.Y. - Senior second baseman Alex Reynolds and sophomore RHP Morgan Lashley earned Patriot League weekly honors following their performances helping Army to a 6-0 mark last week in wins over Yale and conference rival Lafayette.

Reynolds was named "Player of the Week" for the first time this season and Lashley earned her second honor in being tabbed "Pitcher of the Week."

Reynolds was powerful at the plate and Lashley was dominant in the circle as the Black Knights (30-20, 12-8 PL) clinched a berth to the Patriot League Tournament for the fourth straight year in Saturday's sweep, along with moving into the No. 2 spot in the standings.

The Black Knights swept the next day to retain their hold onto second place in closing out league play with a 12-8 record following their first four-game series sweep of the season and second straight 30-win season.

Batting safely in all six games, Reynolds hit .455 for the week as Army opened with a sweep of Yale (10-2 and 8-0). The co-captain batted .400 (6-for-15), to include a pair of home runs and six RBI, in the Lafayette series. Reynolds played a pivotal role in Army's first day sweep of Lafayette by scoring the tie-breaking run in the top of the 10th inning in a 3-1win in the opener, then drove in the lone run in a 1-0 nightcap decision.

In the final game of the series, Reynolds went 3-for-4 with four RBI and scored three runs in Army's 8-3 decision. She staked the Black Knights to a 2-0 first-inning lead with her first home run of the game, then helped key a four-run flurry in the top of the seventh with her second round-tripper as Army belted two in that frame.

Lashley posted a 1.75 ERA compiling a 5-0 mark for the week. She went 4-0, to include a shutout, with a 1.63 ERA in the Lafayette series where she issued just three walks and struck out 14 batters in limiting the Leopards to a .204 batting average.

In the 1-0 shutout in the first-day nightcap, she tossed a nifty three hitter en route to her fourth blanking of the season. After Army snapped a 1-1 tie with a pair of runs in the top half of the 10th inning in the opener, Lashley yielded a single to the leadoff batter in the bottom half. She got out safely on a pop-up and back-to-back strikeouts.

Lashley went the distance on a five hitter, fanned four and did not issue a walk in Army's 7-5 third win in the first game of the second day doubleheader. She mowed down the side on back-to-back groundouts and a strikeout in the bottom half of the seventh after the Black Knights snapped a 5-5 tie in the top half of the inning.

The Black Knights close out the non-league portion of their schedule this week, heading to Albany for a game Wednesday and hosting Farleigh Dickinson in a doubleheader Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
