CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Inclement weather on Saturday carried over into Sunday forcing the cancellation both days of the Charlotte Softball Classic hosted by UNC-Charlotte at the D.L. Phillips Complex.

Only Drexel and the host Niners were able to play a doubleheader on Friday when the temperature was in the 60s before the weather changed bringing sleet and snow into that area the next day to force Saturday's games to be cancelled.

The drop in temperature forced the snow to remain on the field resulting in loss of games on Sunday as well.

Idle next weekend, Army (2-3) returns to action March 2-3 when it heads to Norfolk, Va., to participate in the Spartan Classic.
