WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army women's soccer team faces a challenge Sunday afternoon when it heads to New Jersey to renew its rivalry with Princeton in a noon match at Roberts Stadium. The Tigers, who have earned eight straight trips to the NCAA Tournament, are the defending Ivy League champions.

The Black Knights, members of the Patriot League, are 2-2-1 following a 1-1 overtime draw with Fordham Friday evening. Princeton (1-0-0) is coming off a 2-0 win over Richmond Friday n the Tigers' first season-opening shutout victory since 2001.

Princeton, returning 28 players from last year's squad who accounted for 52 goals, is capable of being just as explosive this season, while Army's senior-laden team was instrumental in the Black Knights ranking among the nation's defensive leaders in 2010 and 2011. In its last outing, the Black Knights held Fordham to just one shot over the final 65 minutes of action.

Though Army holds a 4-1-0 lead in the all-time series that began in 1993, the Black Knights will be playing for the first time at Roberts Stadium. They have an added incentive in looking to become the first Patriot League school to post a win in the stadium's six-year history. The last time the Black Knights and Tigers met was 1997 with Army taking a 2-1 decision in Princeton.

Fans unable to travel to Princeton for Sunday's match will be able to follow the action as live stats via GameTracker will be available on Army's website (www.goARMYsports.com). In-game Twitter updates will also be offered through the official Twitter handle of Army women's soccer (@Army_WSoccer).

Princeton (http://www.ivyleaguedigitalnetwork.com/packages) will provide live video streaming of the game that is subscription based.

Army closes out its five-game road slate Friday when it visits Central Connecticut followed by its first home game in September when it hosts Rhode Island on Sunday (Sept. 15).
