The seventh episode of Black Knights Weekly.

On this week's show Rick Johnston goes one-on-one with men's tennis head coach Jim Poling. Fans will also be given an all-access look at weight room session with the Army football team and Lindsay Gordon is featured as well.

Milestones: Named to Patriot League academic honor roll twice ... compiled second-highest GPA among eight Black Knights selected during the winter ... three-year letterwinner.

2010: Competed in 19 of 21 games earning 10 starts to include the final nine games of the season drawing duty in the midfield ... lone goal of the season proved to be first career game winner in 1-0 overtime edging of Lehigh in the Patriot League opener ... came off the bench and scored six minutes into the sudden death overtime at Clinton Field ... with just four minutes left to play in the first overtime, Gordon received a cross from Julia Stallard that she converted with a shot into the back of the Lehigh net ... assisted on winning goal two days later in 1-0 non-league blanking of Penn ... part of double-assist tandem, crossing the ball to Kim An in the box for second career helper ... 10 of 16 shots were on goal with season-high three registered against Lafayette.

2009: Appeared in 14 of 19 games, drawing starts in four matches to include the final two of the season ... tallied first career goal in 2-0 blanking of Stetson in opening round of the Embassy Suites Kick-Off Classic ... proved to be insurance goal in the win ... scored latter half of second half capitalizing off a shot that hit the inside left corner of the net ... ripped off six shots during the season with five of those attempts on goal ... season-high three shots (all on goal) recorded in 1-0 win over Patriot League rival Lafayette ... drew starts against NJIT and Fordham along with conference rivals Colgate and Holy Cross ... Army went 2-1-1 in games she started.

2008: Highly regarded talent in freshman class ... drew duty in 16 matches with nine starts ... in starting lineup in first six matches of season as Army blanked three of its opponents compiling a 4-2 mark during that span ... one of five newcomers to draw starting nod in season-opening 3-1 win over NJIT ... recorded first career point in road trip to Siena ... set up Army's first goal as Black Knights tied the score 1-1 ... competed in pair of Patriot League regular-season matches versus American and Lafayette ... logged time in the semifinals and championship games helping Army capture the Patriot League Tournament title and automatic NCAA bid ... one of seven freshmen to draw playing time in Army's first appearance at the NCAA Tournament.

High School: Led Taylor High to the 5A State title and a No. 3 national ranking sophomore year along with reaching the regional finals the following two years ... all-state first team selection as a defender ... three-time first team all-district selection ... team captain and MVP ... starter in 86 consecutive games while posting 32 career assists to rank fifth in school history ... academic all-state selection as a senior ... earned a pair of academic all-district honors and was an ODP pool member in 2003 ... member of the Texas Premier FC 90 that competed in the South Texas Premier League, finishing runner-up at the South Texas State championship in 2001 ... played with Eclipse 90 Black squad that was a South Texas State finalist senior year.

Personal: Given name is Lindsay Gale Gordon ... parents' names are Merrilee and Doug Gordon ... paternal grandfather Robert L. Gordon retired from the U.S. Army as a Major General ... majoring in Physics.

COACH'S COMMENTS: "Lindsay spent a good part of the fall dealing with an injury, and she was out all spring with the same injury. I think the time off the field has reinvigorated her drive as a soccer player and we are excited to get her back on the field. She is technically very clean and has played a variety of positions throughout her career; we are excited to see where she can help the team the most this fall."
