The Army women's soccer team had nine players named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in Friday's announcement by the conference office. Junior Jaclyn Kalik headlined the field of 98 student athletes authoring a 4.029 grade point average during the fall semester.

Marcia McDermott, a trailblazer among college women's soccer coaches, has been named the head coach of the Army Black Knights, as announced by Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan on Friday morning. McDermott takes over as the fourth head coach of the program, which is set to enter its 28th season in the fall of 2013.
