WEST POINT, N.Y. - The United States Military Academy at West Point hosted a visit by USA Basketball's Men's National Team on Monday as the team prepares for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

The team and its coaching staff, led by 1969 West Point graduate Mike Krzyzewski, arrived at West Point Monday morning and toured the Academy prior to holding a practice at Christl Arena. The practice, open only to the West Point community, will be televised live on ESPN2 beginning at 2 p.m.

The group traveled to West Point from its headquarters in New York City and was greeted upon arrival by Superintendent Lt. Gen. Robert L. Caslen. After meeting with Lt. Gen. Caslen, the team visited the West Point Cemetery where it went to four gravesites and heard a historical overview given by Lt. Col. Dave Siry.

Next, the team journeyed to Arvin Gymnasium where they witnessed demonstrations at the Combat Water Survival Swim Lab and the indoor obstacle course at Hayes. From there the team walked to Washington Hall to observe the cadet formation prior to entering the mess hall for lunch with the cadets.

Following lunch, the team walked to Trophy Point where they continued the tour and posed for a team photo.  

Players on hand included DeMarcus Cousins (Sacramento Kings), Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans), DeMar DeRozan (Toronto Raptors), Andre Drummond (Detroit Pistons), Kenneth Faried (Denver Nuggets), Rudy Gay (Sacramento Kings), James Harden (Houston Rockets), Gordon Hayward (Utah Jazz), Kyrie Irving (Cleveland Cavaliers), Kyle Korver (Atlanta Hawks), Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers), Chandler Parsons (Dallas Mavericks),
Mason Plumlee (Brooklyn Nets), Derrick Rose (Chicago Bulls) and Klay Thompson (Golden State Warriors).

Also on hand was Jerry Colangelo, USA Basketball chairman and National Team managing director as well as
Krzyzewski's entire coaching staff, including Syracuse University and Naismith Hall of Fame coach Jim Boeheim, Chicago Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau and New Orleans Pelicans head coach Monty Williams.
