The 64-team WNIT field was chosen following the NCAA Tournament’s selection show on Monday night and features 31 automatic qualifiers and 33 at-large selections. Army is making its first appearance at the WNIT and has played in just one national tournament prior to this season when the Black Knights earned the automatic berth into the 2006 NCAA Championship following their Patriot League Tournament win. Army lost to No. 2 seed Tennessee in Norfolk, Va., in the NCAA First Round.
