Senior Shelby Romine hit a jumper as time expired in regulation to give Bucknell at 56-55 win over the Army women's basketball team in Patriot League action on Saturday evening at Sojka Pavilion.

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army women's basketball team will wrap up its season-long five-game homestand on Saturday, when it hosts Bucknell at 1 p.m.

Army dropped a 92-85 decision to Holy Cross on Feb. 12 to fall to 17-6 overall and 9-3 in the Patriot League. Sophomore Kelsey Minato scored an Academy-record 49 points, while making an NCAA-record 26 free-throws as part of a 26-of-26 showing from the line.

THE ARMY-BUCKNELL SERIES
Army and Bucknell will meet for the 54th time on Saturday in a series that dates back to the 1983-84 season. The Bison own a 32-21 all-time advantage, and earned a 56-55 win during the last meeting between the schools on Jan. 18, 2014. Prior to that, Army collected four straight wins in the series, sweeping Bucknell in 2011-12 and 2012-13.

LAST TIME OUT
Army outscored Holy Cross by six in the second half, but couldn't come back from its 13-point halftime deficit, ultimately falling by a score of 92-85. The Black Knights posted their second-best free-throw-shooting game of the season by converting 90.2 percent (37-of-41) of their chances from the line. Minato scored an Academy-record 49 points while setting an NCAA mark for free-throws made (26-of-26 from the line). Minato set a total of 18 scoring records in the setback, while also adding six rebounds and a career-high-tying four steals. Senior Jen Hazlett contributed 15 points and seven rebounds, and sophomore Allie Setter totaled a career-high six points and controlled four boards. The 92 points allowed by Army were the most the Black Knights have given up in 2013-14, but the their 85 points scored were the second most of the season (108 vs. Staten Island - 12/29).
