The Army wrestling team will wrap up its home slate with a match against Bucknell on Sunday, Feb. 9. The contest is set to begin at 2 p.m. at Gillis Field House. The Black Knights will honor their seven seniors in a Senior Day ceremony prior to the match.
Army (7-3, 6-3 EIWA) most recently finished fourth out of eight teams at the All-Academy Championships on Feb. 1.
The Black Knights have won each of their last four dual matches, last falling to Boston University on Jan. 12.
Four Army wrestlers have posted at least 20 wins this season, including junior Chandler Smith (165 pounds, 29-10),
sophomore Brian Harvey (174, 24-8), senior Paul Hancock (157, 22-10) and junior Cole Gracey (165, 21-12).
Bucknell (7-9, 3-2) is coming off a 29-12 setback to 13th ranked Virginia on Feb. 2. The Bison are led by Joe Stolfi (285,
24-6) and Paul Petrov (125, 23-7), while seven others also have double-digit wins.
Army is 10-2 all-time versus Bucknell. The Black Knights defeated the Bison, 28-9, during their last meeting on Jan. 19,
2013 in Lewisburg, Pa.
Following Sunday, Army will take a week off before facing Navy in the annual "Star" Match on Friday, Feb. 21 in Annapolis, Md.
