WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army wrestling team returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 2, when the Black Knights host the 19th annual All-Academy Championships sponsored by USAA. The eight-team tournament, which will be held inside Gillis Field House, will begin at 10 a.m. Finals are slated for 4 p.m.

Air Force, The Citadel, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine, Navy, Norwich and VMI will descend upon West Point and join Army to round out the eight-team field. The Midshipmen, who edged Air Force for the tournament championship last season, have won four straight titles and eight of nine dating back to 2004.

Twitter updates will be available throughout the day via the official Twitter handle of Army wrestling (@Army_Wrestling). Be sure to follow @Army_Wrestling for the most up-to-date tournament information. Additionally, updated brackets will be posted periodically on Army's official athletics website (www.goARMYsports.com).

Army has won a pair of All-Academy Championship titles over the years, claiming team crowns in 1996 and 2008. The Black Knights will look to improve on last season's fourth-place showing.

Junior 165-pounder Paul Hancock leads Army with a 23-8 overall record. The third-year grappler tops the Black Knights with seven major decisions and 10 bonus-point victories. Senior 133-pounder Jordan Thome paces Army with seven pins and lists third on the team with 17 wins.

Freshman 197-pounder Bryce Barnes, meanwhile, ranks second on the squad with 18 victories and lists among the team leaders with four pins, three major decisions and seven bonus-point wins.

Following Saturday's tournament, Army will return to its dual match schedule hosting American and Boston University on Sunday, Feb. 10. The Black Knights will then have two weeks to prepare for the annual "Star" match versus Navy on Feb. 24.
