The Army wrestling team gathered in Randall Hall Auditorium last Tuesday night to hand out its annual team awards. Senior Daniel Young and junior Paul Hancock, who received two awards each, were among the wrestlers honored for their accomplishments during the 2012-13 season.

The Army wrestling program was strongly represented at this past weekend's Las Vegas/ASICS U.S. Open as Black Knight assistant coaches Enock Francois and Dan Mitcheff both qualified for the World Team Trials following top-seven showings.

Army's four national qualifiers competed on the opening day of the NCAA Championships on Thursday inside Wells Fargo Arena.

After turning in an outstanding showing at the EIWA Championships, four members of the Army wrestling team will make the trek west to Des Moines, Iowa, to compete at the NCAA Championships (March 21-23). The three-day event will be contested inside the Wells Fargo Arena.
