WEST POINT, N.Y. - Tripp Johnson, the lone senior on the Army men's tennis roster, will author a blog in the days leading up to Saturday's Army-Navy Star Match. Saturday's match at West Point against the Mids marks Johnson's seventh time facing the rival. Army and Navy meet once every regular season and have been paired in the Patriot League Championship in each of Johnson's years in the Black & Gold.

The Army senior helped the Black Knights orchestrate their first win over the Mids in eight tries in last season's Star Match, defeating Navy 4-3 in Annapolis on April 11. With Army down 2-1, Johnson defeated Zach Nicholson in gripping fashion, 2-6, 6-2, 7-6(7-3), to even the score. The Black Knights won the next two singles contests to clinch the 2010 Star.

Saturday's match at Army's Lichtenberg Tennis Center is set for a 1 p.m. start.
