Army men's tennis rebounded from a pair of early weekend losses to Ball State and Lipscomb by defeating academy rival Air Force, 4-3, on Sunday afternoon. Playing the trio of matches at a neutral-site location in Dayton, Ohio, the Black Knights capped their weekend by winning the "Silver Star" and improving to 4-4 on the season.

Army men's tennis will travel to Dayton, Ohio, this weekend for a neutral-site tripleheader featuring matches against Ball State, Lipscomb and academy rival Air Force. The Black Knights will face the Cardinals Saturday at noon, followed by a 5 p.m., showing against the Bison, and concluding against the Falcons on Sunday at 11 a.m.

Army men's tennis completed its weekend sweep with a pair wins on Sunday, topping Connecticut and Vassar with 5-2 and 6-1 decisions, respectively. The Black Knights, hosting their first home matches of the season, used the friendly confines of Lichtenberg Tennis Center to bump their season record to 3-2.

Army men's tennis captured its first victory of the dual season with a 4-3 win over Stony Brook. The Black Knights relied on freshman Alex Van Velzer to clinch the match, winning in dramatic three-set fashion. Army improved to 1-2 on the season while the Seawolves dropped to 2-2.
