After winning its season opener last week, the Army sprint football team will welcome Collegiate Sprint Football League rival Post University to Shea Stadium on Friday, Sept. 20. The contest, which is slated for a 7 p.m. start, will feature a pair of unbeaten opponents as the Black Knights topped Penn, 35-12, last week, while the Eagles defeated Cornell, 21-10.
The game will be video streamed live on Knight Vision, the Black Knights' subscription-based multimedia platform available through Army's official website (www.goARMYsports.com). Live stats will also be available through GameTracker, and in-game Twitter updates will be offered via the sprint football team's official handle (@ArmySprintFB).

Explosive Second Half Leads Army Over Post at Allegiance Bowl
Army sprint football started conference play on a high note Saturday, knocking off Post in its College Sprint Football League opener in Saratoga Springs at the Allegiance Bowl. The Black Knight offense surged in the second half to clinch the 63-28 victory and move to 2-0 overall this season.
Army (1-0 overall, 1-0 CSFL) racked up 452 yards of total offense last week and was led by junior quarterback James Wartski
, who threw for 293 yards on 16-of-24 passing. Wartski also tossed three touchdowns, including a pair to freshman wide receiver Lane Holmes
. Freshman running back Marqus Burrell
also had an impactful outing, as he totaled 74 yards on 15 carries while rushing for two touchdowns. On defense, senior linebacker Patrick Franco
led the way with 15 tackles, and senior lineman Joe Williams
and junior lineman Michael Geneser
each notched 1.5 sacks.
Freshman running back James Harrington paced Post (1-0, 1-0) last week, rushing for 156 yards and a pair of touchdowns against Cornell. Classmate Javon Martin completed 5-of-10 passes and threw for 33 yards, while freshman Jay'Len Mahan returned two kickoffs for a combined 147 yards and ran back the opening kick 91 yards for a touchdown. Sophomore Anthony Jamele led the way defensively for the Eagles, totaling 8.5 tackles and four sacks.
Army and Post will meet for just the third time on Friday, with the Black Knights taking the first two meetings in 2011 and 2012. Last season, Army defeated Post, 63-28, when the teams squared off in Saratoga, N.Y.
Following Friday's game, the Black Knights are back in action when they hit the road to play Franklin Pierce on Sept. 28. The contest will be the Army's first against the Ravens.
