CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Army freshman forward Jordan Lee, who scored the game-winning goal in the Black Knights' 2-1 victory at Adelphi last Tuesday evening, was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Lee, who was inserted into the match with just three minutes remaining in the second half, tallied the game winner as time expired to lift Army (3-8-1, 0-3-1 PL) to its third victory of the season. It marked the first career goal for Lee, who has appeared in 10 matches during his rookie campaign.

The native of Kailua, Hawai'i, becomes the first Army player to earn the Patriot League's weekly rookie award since current sophomore midfielder Devin Perlee collected that honor last September.

Army resumes its Patriot League schedule on Saturday, Oct. 20, when the Black Knights travel to Lewisburg, Pa., to face Bucknell. The conference match is set to begin at 7 p.m.
