WEST POINT, N.Y. - The regionally ranked Army men's soccer team is on the road to play regionally ranked Loyola in a Patriot League contest on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m. The meeting will be the first between the Black Knights and the Greyhounds.

Army enters the game ranked seventh in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Mid-Atlantic Region poll, while Loyola stands fifth in the North Atlantic Region.

A free live video stream of the match will be available on the Patriot League Network with a link provided on Army's official website (www.goARMYsports.com). Live stats will also be available through GameTracker and in-game Twitter updates will be offered via the men's soccer team's official handle (@Army_MSoccer).

Army (8-1-1, 3-0-0 PL) is off to its best start since 1975, when it was 9-1-0 through 10 matches. The Black Knights' 3-0 league record is their best since 1996 when they began 4-0. Freshman forward Ethan Spivack leads Army with three goals, while junior back Sean Mogan, sophomore forward Cody Guerry, and freshman midfielder Christian Ollen each have two goals and an assist. Junior goalkeeper Winston Boldt stands third in the nation in save percentage (.902) and ranks fourth in goals against average (.475). Boldt leads the country with eight shutouts and has the most by a Black Knight keeper since Lucas Rice posted a program-record nine clean sheets in 1992.

Patriot League newcomer Loyola (5-4-2, 0-2-1) boasts the conference's leading goal scorer in sophomore forward Larry Ndjock (eight goals) and assists leader in senior forward Stephen Dooley (six assists). Senior goalie Thurman Van Riper has posted a team-leading 3-0-1 record with a pair of shutouts in five starts.

Following Saturday's match, the men's soccer team returns home to host Patriot League rival American on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m. The Black Knights suffered a 3-2 defeat in overtime to the Eagles last season at West Point.
