WEST POINT, N.Y. - The weekly awards continue to pour in for Army sophomore goalkeeper Winston Boldt, who on Tuesday was named the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time in as many weeks.

The second-year keeper, who has started each of Army's four matches this season, backstopped the Black Knights' 3-0 win over Iona last Friday night. For the week, he posted a 1.00 goals-against average and a .600 save percentage. Boldt stopped both shots he faced versus the Gaels in helping Army to the shutout victory.

Boldt's blanking was his second of the season and third of his career. The St. Louis, Mo., product has now won the Patriot League's weekly goalkeeping award three times over the course of his career after capturing the honor once in 2011. Boldt is the first Army goalie to win Goalkeeper of the Week laurels in back-to-back weeks since the league began handing out the award in 2006. He is also the first Army player to win the accolade twice in a single season.

Earlier in the week, Boldt yielded a pair of goals on penalty kicks in the Black Knights' 2-0 loss to BIG EAST member and regional rival Seton Hall.

For the season, Boldt shows a 1.00 goals-against average to go along with a .714 save percentage and two shutouts.

Senior midfielder Josh Koeppe, meanwhile, was named to the Patriot League's weekly honor roll after scoring a goal and adding an assist in Army's 3-0 blanking of Iona. Koeppe, who was tabbed to the all-conference second team last season, currently leads the Black Knights with two goals, five points and nine shots.

Army (2-2-0) is coming off a heart-breaking 2-1 setback to Binghamton on Monday. The Bearcats tallied the game-winning goal with just over one minute to play in the second half to deliver the Black Knights their first home loss of the young season. The squad returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 8, when the Black Knights travel to Louisville, Ky., to face nationally ranked Louisville at 7 p.m.
