2013-14 Army Hockey Schedule
WEST POINT, N.Y. - With the Army hockey 2013-14 season opener less than a month away, the Black Knights’ first contest of the impending season will air live on the Big Ten Network as Army visits Penn State on Friday, Oct. 11.
The historic lid-lifter for both teams is slated for an 8 p.m. start and will be the first game played in Penn State’s new Pegula Ice Arena.
This announcement comes on the heels of last week’s news that the Army-Air Force showdown on Jan. 10 at West Point, N.Y., will air to a national audience on CBS Sports Network.
Season and group tickets, along with mini-plan packages, for the 2013-14 season are on sale now. Individual game tickets go on sale tomorrow, Sept. 17.
Fourteen games are scheduled to be played at Tate Rink this season, highlighted by Atlantic Hockey Association matchups against service-academy rival Air Force, Bentley, Holy Cross, Sacred Heart, Canisius, Mercyhurst, American International and Connecticut. Lauded as one of the top venues in the region, the Black Knights played in front of six sellout crowds a year ago.
