Voted team captain after a breakout season last winter for the Black Knights ... uses speed and toughness to counter small size ... scrappy winger who is not afraid to mix it up in the corners ... will be asked to play a larger role in the offensive game plan ... speed and soft hands lend to his scoring prowess.

2000-01: Key member of the checking line ... played mainly on left wing, but can play any of the forward positions ... only 5-8 but can be a deceptively hard hitter ... aggressive going after the puck in the corners ... not known to be a big scorer, but did set career highs for assists and points ... two goals came against Bentley and Canisius ... notched first career two-assist game in 6-2 win at Fairfield Feb. 20 ... led the team with 36 blocked shots.

1999-2000: Active for 23 games, including 14 of 16 after New Year?s ... gained increased ice time as the season progressed ... finished with three goals and three assists ... goals came against Fairfield, nationally-ranked Colgate and Scranton ... most important point of the season was an assist on the tying goal in a 4-4 draw with Providence on Jan. 14 ... Army battled back from a 4-1 deficit in that game ... also handed out assists against Iona and Scranton ... also had three goals and three assists in six games with the junior varsity team, tying for the team scoring lead.

1998-99: Played in all 17 JV contests, scoring seven goals and a team-high 15 assists ... 22 points tied for team lead and plus-15 rating was second best on the squad ... earned the inaugural Paul Haggerty Award as the member of the junior varsity squad showing ?courage, determination and perseverance throughout the season? ... was recruited to West Point by Haggerty, an assistant coach who died suddenly in April of 1998 ... also appeared in nine varsity games, logging three points (1G, 2A) ... first career varsity point was an assist against Fairfield in his debut on Dec. 8.

Prior to West Point: Earned two letters in hockey at Catholic Memorial H.S. in Boston before moving on to the Berkshire School in Sheffield, Mass., in 1997-98 ... lettered once each in hockey, soccer and baseball at Berkshire ... was named All-Catholic Conference in high school and all-league at prep school ... was also an All-New England goalkeeper in soccer.
