Army Gymnast Qualifies for Finals in Two Events at West Point Open

WEST POINT - Getting Sam Kusnitz to West Point was hardly a tough recruiting challenge.

His father, Jonathan, served in the U.S. Army and retired as a captain and Sam wants to be just like his dad.

"I wanted to follow him, be in the Army, serve my country and just do work here," said Kusnitz, who said he didn't apply to any other school. "I want to go infantry like he did, do the same thing, and just have a great time with it."
