ANNAPOLIS, Md. -
Army gymnast Jesse Glenn closed out an impressive performance earning four All-America certificates in the individual event finals at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championships Saturday afternoon at host Navy's Macdonough Hall.
After being crowned the all-around national champion along with USAG All-American honors on Friday, Glenn picked up four more certificates in Saturday's individual event finals.
The Army sophomore was runner-up on high bar (15.025) after being edged for the title by two-time champion Nick Gaudlip of Air Force who scored a 15.05.
Glenn was third on parallel bars (14.1) along with a pair of fifth-place finishes on floor exercise (13.775) and pommel horse (13.5) as the top six in each event earned All-America honors.
Senior Kip Webber and junior Alex Ganz also garnered USAG All-America honors. Webber placed second on vault with a 14.875 and Ganz was the second Black Knight to earn an All-America certificate on parallel bars following a fifth-place (13.67) finish in joining Glenn.
Army returns to action next week at the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Navy with the winner earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Army is ranked second to William & Mary in the conference standings.
