Army Begins Spring Schedule At Gary Freeman Invitational

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. - The Army golf team begins its 2014 spring schedule Sunday morning at the Gary Freeman Invitational hosted by Bethune-Cookman. The Black Knights will tee off in the 36-hole event at Halifax Plantation Golf Course.

Army's quintet will be among the first five groups off the tee. Eric Peng is in the first group followed by Justin Pagila, Robby Hill, Peter Kim and Marcus Plunkett. Harrison Florence will also participate as an individual.

Other participating teams include the host Wildcats, Embry-Riddle, Stetson, Florida A&M, Savannah State, Palm Beach Atlantic, Hampton and Edward Waters.

The Halifax Plantation Golf Course is set up at par 72 and a distance of 6,953 yards. The official tournament web site can be viewed by clicking here.

The final round will begin on Monday at 8 a.m.

Following Monday's competition, Army will have a month off before competing at the Seahawk Invitational hosted by UNC Wilmington.
