JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. – Anthony Kim is tied for 16th place as the second round of the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate was completed, Saturday at the Blackthorn Club.
Kim followed up two-under-par 70 with an even-par 72 at the 7,147-yard layout.
Army shot a 300 and is at 589 for the championship and is 11th, ahead of Penn State and Furman.
Sunday’s 18-hole final round will begin with tee times at 8 a.m.
Tennessee leads the tournament with a 36-hole score of 567, three stokes better than Virginia and four in front of Missouri and Memphis. Grant Milner of Missouri is the individual leader with 10-under-par score of 134.
John Lee is tied for 38th after a second-round 75 while Eric Peng is a stroke back at 148 with his second consecutive round of 74.
Marcus Plunkett shot an 80 on Saturday and is tied for 55th for with a 150. Robby Hill also shot an 80 and is 73rd at 163.
