Getting To Know Eric Park
Why did you choose West Point?
I wanted quality education, serve my country and my brother attends West Point.
Best part about Army golf? Teammates, just playing competitive golf, and beating Navy.
I follow ? number of people on Twitter? I don't have Twitter, since I have a dumb phone and cannot update it from my phone.
Favorite club in my bag? Putter. I make it rain with it.
Favorite hole at West Point Golf Course? I would have to say 10 or 18.
Favorite roadtrip? Drive up from Chapel Hill, N.C. in a two-door sedan (Acura RSX) with my brother and a former teammate during president's day weekend.
Favorite class? If the classes from plebe year count then boxing. If it doesn't then Engineering Economics.
If I weren't playing golf, I would be? Playing basketball and football
Pregame rituals? I have a lot. I listen to my MP3 for an hour before I sleep. I pray before I listen to the MP3. I wake up and tell myself in the mirror that I will do great today. I have to get to the course early to warm up (usually over an hour and half).
Two words to describe Coach Watts? Dedicated and emotional
In 10 years I will be? Attending graduate school at the University of Illinois or UNC.
Favorite golf movie? Tin Cup
If I can play any other sport it would be? Basketball without a doubt. I love Basketball almost much as I love golf.
