Getting To Know Robby Hill
How did you spend your summer? I had four weeks of leave, completed Camp Buckner and played golf.
I chose West Point because? The opportunities that West Point brings to the table, serving the best country in the world, and a great coaching staff.
What makes Army golf so special? It is the first time many of us have had to make something else the priority over golf and being able to use golf as an outlet to cadet life makes our team very different from other universities. Also, the team chemistry with the players, as well as the coaches, has created a special atmosphere.
Before every round I? Eat a nice, big breakfast, stretch out, hit balls to warm up, then chip and putt before I go to the first tee.
The longest drive I ever hit was? Not long enough.
If I could play only one club it would be? 6 iron
I chose my major because? I am debating between a few different majors such as Systems Engineering, Economics, and other business related majors.
My dream foursome includes? Rickie Fowler, Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and myself
I am most looking forward to playing? I am looking forward to every tournament, but the most exciting is definitely my second Army Navy Star Match.
Favorite course to play on the Simulator? Bay Hill
In 20 years I will be? Living in a huge house on the beach in Florida, playing golf everyday on a course I cannot currently afford to play at.
