The following blog will chronicle the 2010 Army football season through the eyes of senior LB Stephen Anderson. The Ijamsville, Md., native is in his second season serving as a team captain and has been described as the "heartbeat" of the Army defense. 5-4 heading into Kent State. 6-4 heading out of Kent State. SOUNDS GOOD TO ME. This season has been an emotional rollercoaster and the most frustrating part is we are so close. People want to talk about how much pressure we have to make it to a bowl game. They want to talk about how much Army needs a bowl game this year. This team is the closest brotherhood I have been on and we know deep down the only pressure we feel, is the pressure we put on ourselves.
We had a great week of practice and know are going to play with a fire that only we can fuel. DO NOT LOSE FAITH ARMY FANS! We believe!
Go Army! Beat Kent State!
Steve Anderson
