The following blog will chronicle the 2010 Army football season through the eyes of senior LB Stephen Anderson. The Ijamsville, Md., native is in his second season serving as a team captain and has been described as the "heartbeat" of the Army defense. We had our first closed practice we have had in some time. I don’t feel as if we are distracted by all the outside sources. We may enjoy them, we may participate in them, but we know it comes down to playing our best football between the lines.
Looking at Air Force, we had two guys slip on two long pass plays and a turnover scooped up for a touchdown. Big plays have been our Achilles heel this year, but we are never down and out.
We believe and with the support of Army fans around the world and the 12th Man. We know we can win these next three games. Heading into Kent State, we know they are going to be a hard-fighting team, but we are hungry and across the board and we have something to prove. We know what needs to be done. One game at a time, one day at a time, one play at a time.
Go Army.
