The following blog will chronicle the 2010 Army football season through the eyes of senior LB Stephen Anderson. The Ijamsville, Md., native is in his second season serving as a team captain and has been described as the "heartbeat" of the Army defense. Anderson will provide periodic blog updates throughout the Black Knights' 2010 campaign. Click here to read Stephen Anderson's biography.

Pep rallies always get me pumped up. Thursday night we went out to Daly Field, gathered the entire Corps together and huddled around a big bonfire. In that bonfire, a few pieces of wood in the shape of PLANES.
Our team captains took the stage and talked about how Air Force has a chance on Saturday when they play the 11 players on the field. But add in the original 12th Man to the equation, and we know what the answer is – Army – box the answer and //ANS (West Pointers - you know what that means).
Now the hard work is over, some of the fun is out of the way and it is strictly business until that final cannon goes off while the score board reads ARMY VICTORY. Bottom line, there is no substitute for victory!
Go Army! Beat Air Force!
