WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Army's football team returns to the television airwaves for the second time in three weeks when the Black Knights host Conference USA rival East Carolina, Saturday at Michie Stadium.

The game will be broadcast regionally on Fox Sports Net South. The largest of Fox Sports Net's 21 regional sports networks, Fox Sports Net South boasts more than eight million homes in the southeast corridor of the United States. In addition, the telecast will be carried in the New York-metro area by Madison Square Garden Network, which reaches in upwards of four million homes. The broadcast will also be available nationally as part of ESPN's GamePlan pay-per-view package.

Veteran play-by-play announcer Bob Rathbun and former National Football League standout Jamie Dukes are scheduled to call the action. Kickoff time for the Black Knights' Homecoming date was shifted to 12:45 p.m. earlier in the fall to accommodate the television broadcast.

Army has benefitted greatly from television exposure in recent years. In the last five years, 18 Black Knight contests have been broadcast nationally, six via network television. Since 1990, 36 Army games have been broadcast to a national or regional television audience. Saturday's game will mark the second of three Black Knight outings scheduled for television broadcast. While Army's game against Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass., two weeks ago was televised by ESPN Plus, the Black Knights' season finale versus arch-rival Navy will be televised to a national audience by CBS Sports once again.

East Carolina has prevailed in all four previous matchups against Army, with those games having been decided by a scant 32 points. The Pirates carry a 2-3 overall record (1-0 C-USA) into Saturday's tilt, while Army enters at 1-3 (1-2 C-USA) overall, coming off a 28-14 defeat of Houston this past weekend.

In addition to this week's television coverage, the Army Sports Network will provide radio coverage of the Black Knights' game against East Carolina. The broadcast will be carried by 1050 ESPN Radio (1050-AM), New York, N.Y., and local affiliates WBNR (1260-AM), Beacon, N.Y., and WLNA (1420-AM), Peekskill, N.Y. Saturday's pregame show is slated to air at 12:05 p.m. with John Minko (play-by-play), Dean Darling (color analyst), Casey Kahler (sideline reporter) and Bob Outer (program host) calling the action.

Tickets for all Army games, including the Black Knights' rescheduled date against Buffalo on Nov. 10, are currently available at the Army Ticket Office. Fans can order tickets by phone at 1-877-TIX-ARMY (1-877-849-2769).
