Additions Made to CBS Sports Network Broadcast Team

WEST POINT, N.Y.  – The CBS Sports Network broadcast team that handles Army football will have some additions for the 2013 season. And, the network can be found on channel 221 on Direct TV.

Play-by-play veteran Ben Holden returns as the lead announcer for CBS Sports Network. This year, he will be joined by veteran coach Tom Bradley offering color, award-winning author John Feinstein serving as an essayist and sideline reporter Kristine Leahy. She will be joined each week by a cadet in a popular feature of the Army broadcast.

Holden, who also handles hockey play-by-play for the growing network, will be behind the microphone at Michie Stadium for the second straight season.

Bradley, a veteran college coach, is joining the broadcast for the first time. Feinstein has written over two dozen books, including “A Civil War,” about the Army-Navy rivalry. He will offer a halftime piece during each of the five CBS Sports Network broadcasts. He writes for the Washington Post and hosts the John Feinstein Show from 9 a.m. to noon on CBS Sports Radio.

CBS Sports Network is in its fourth year as the home of Army football. The network also carries games of the Mount West, Conference USA, Navy, the Patriot League and Division II. The network is set to air 51 games this fall.

CBS Sports Network will carry all five Army home games to a national audience. The schedule begins with the August 30 opener against Morgan State and includes games opposite Stanford (Sept. 14), Wake Forest (Sept. 23), Eastern Michigan (Oct. 12) and Western Kentucky (Nov. 9).

CBS Sports Network is being shifted to channel 221 on Wednesday on Direct TV after being on channel 613. On Time Warner Cable, CBS Sports Network in on channel 457 and in high definition on channel 467.
