QUOTEABLE
Head Coach Jeff Monken
(Ref.:  team sessions during practice)
"The defense has won every single of those until the second session today. We weren't getting the competitive spirit out there that I hoped would be there. The competition at the end, the loser does pushups and no one wants to do pushups after you are tired. Now, even without that, guys are into competitive part and we need that."

(Ref.: being competitive)
"I watch every detail if I can and our coaches do too. I don't think there is any small detail that isn't important. We want everything to be done the proper way and for those to be competitive in everything they do."

Senior DT Robert Kough
(Ref.:  role of veterans)
"I've had quite a bit of experience here so I have some knowledge. Right now, I am taking the role of an observer. When a young guy needs help, I go help him. Our veteran players are great. "

Freshman QB Kado Brown

(Ref.: fellow quarterbacks)
"My fellow quarterbacks have made it very easy on me and are always there to work with me. It has been a pretty smooth process because they have been very supportive. "

(Ref.: his season goals)
"I am just trying to give my best effort. Coach (Jeff) Monken always talks about giving your best effort and I have tried to do that. Any time I get the chance, I try to make the best of the opportunity."
