Thirteen Players Tabbed By College Sports Madness

WEST POINT, N.Y.  – Thirteen Army football players are listed among the three College Sports Madness Independent Preseason All-Conference football teams, it was announced late Wednesday night.

The staff at College Sports Madness selected offensive and defensive first, second and third teams and notes selected players are expected to make significant contributions during the upcoming season.

Running back Terry Baggett and offensive line Steve Shumaker as well as safety Geoffery Bacon and defensive lineman Robert Kough were chosen to the first team.

The second team showcases running back Larry Dixon and offensive line Justin Gilbert, along with defensive tackle Richard Glover.

The third team includes wide receivers Xavier Moss and Kelvin White, kicker Daniel Grochowski, defensive lineman Mike Ugenyi, linebacker Andrew King, cornerback Josh Jenkins and punter Alex Tardieu.

Army will open the 2014 season, the first under new head coach Jeff Monken, on Sept. 6 against Buffalo.

Single-game and season tickets are now on sale.

Tickets can be purchased by clicking here, by calling the Army Ticket Office at 1-877-TIX-ARMY or in person at Gate 3 of Michie Stadium.

Single game tickets are available for just $32 for the Buffalo contest. The Rice game is priced at $35, while Ball State and Fordham tickets are $49. Air Force tickets start at $50. Tickets for the game at Yankee Stadium start at $30.

Season tickets are also available with prices beginning at $116 for the spirit zone. Sideline, end zone and upper level seats are available for just $187.

Three-game mini plans are also offered with prices ranging from $91-$113 depending on which games fans select.

Fans will also have the option to purchase parking in advance for $15. Parking is $20 on gameday.
