MONDAY'S QUOTEABLES
Head Coach Jeff Monken
(Ref: positives from Monday's practice)
"We had some good plays from both the offense and defense. We had a lot of corrections we wanted to make after the scrimmage on Saturday, and it was good to get some work in doing that. I thought the guys came out here with a good attitude and tried to fix some of those problems."

(Ref: anything from Saturday's scrimmage that needs working on)
"The biggest things that stood out were missed assignments and effort. There were far too many missed assignments: not blocking the right guy, not playing the right gap, not playing the correct coverage. There are things like that that we're going to have to do if we're going to have a chance to win."

Outside linebacker Andrew King
(Ref: Monday's practice)
"Practice was good, we're out here getting better one rep at a time. We listen to our coaches to try to get the right plays and the right calls."

(Ref: impressions of the defense)
"Progressively, we're getting better each day. We're eliminating the mistakes we made in the past and we're moving forward together as a team."

Wide receiver Mike Parros
(Ref: adapting to offensive changes)
"There are some changes. We're making mistakes, but we're working on it. It's nice to see us all working hard. In the scrimmage, the defense won a lot of plays, but we're seeing a lot of improvement on offense."
