THURSDAY’S QUOTABLES
Defensive Lineman Richard Glover

(Ref.: thoughts on the mentality of the new coaching staff)
“We’re just out here to play football. We’re working with our teammates to try to get ready to win some more games. Whether it be a new coaching staff or an old coaching staff, they’re trying to get us better and we’re out here trying to improve every day.”

Wide Receiver Chevaughn Lawrence
(Ref.: on the new offense)
“We’re still learning the offense and we’re still just trying to run the right plays. I know I messed up a couple of times. I’m really just trying to figure out the offense and relax and catch the ball. I really like how, if one of us messes up, our teammates are there. Our group is really tight this year and our wide receiver group will hold each other accountable. If we make a mistake, we correct each other.”

Quarterback Kelvin White
(Ref.: on adapting to the new offense)
“There are differences, but fundamentally, we still have to be sound and control the ball. We just want to get first downs and win games.”

(Ref.: how the second day of spring practice went)
“It’s the second day of spring ball, we’ve still got a little bit of rust on us. As long as we keep working together as a team and keep holding each other accountable, we’ll keep making strides toward becoming a better team.”
