Football Season Tickets Renewals Now Available

WEST POINT, N.Y. – With Jeff Monken at the helm and a new era underway, current Army season ticket holders can assure their place at Michie Stadium for the 2014 season beginning online today at 10 a.m.  Fans can renew their seats here at or by calling the Army Athletics Ticket Office at 1-877-TIX-ARMY.  All current season ticket holders can expect their 2014 renewal packet during the week of March 17.  This year’s deadline for renewal is May 1.

Season tickets for all five home games at Michie Stadium are available starting at just $116 for Spirit Zone seating. Sideline and end zone tickets are only $187.  Season ticket holders will also have the opportunity to purchase single game tickets at the discounted early bird price beginning at $27, the Army vs. Connecticut game at Yankee Stadium on Nov. 8 starting at $30 and Army-Navy tickets.  Army-Navy priority tickets and class seating are $75 and club seats are $125 each for the Army-Navy game in Baltimore, Md.

The first 500 accounts to renew online will receive four passes to one exclusive behind-the-scenes experience at West Point. Those accounts will be notified and invitations will be sent in mid-August. In addition, anyone that renews their season tickets online by May 1, 2014, will receive two entries into a drawing for great prizes. The grand prize is the Army-Navy Football Package in Baltimore, Md., this December. The winning entry will receive two tickets to the Army-Navy Gala, two lower level sideline tickets, two pregame on-field passes and a one-night stay at the official Army hotel.

Other prizes include two lower level sideline Army-Navy tickets, two Army-Navy on-field pregame passes, Kimsey Club passes, a tailgate party for 20 at a home football game, two additional tickets to a home game, pregame sideline passes, autographed football by Coach Monken, game-used football and honorary coin toss captain, among other items.

New season ticket orders, mini-plans and group tickets are also on sale now for the 2014 season.  In addition to a discount for purchasing 20-or-more tickets, Army also offers a sales representative for the seamless organization of group outings. With plenty of tailgating opportunities and a full day of events unlike any other sporting event in the country, a visit to West Point is about more than just the game. Under Jeff Monken, the Black Knights open the season at Michie Stadium on Sept. 6 versus Buffalo.  Army also welcomes Ball State (Oct. 4), Rice (Oct. 11), Air Force (Nov. 1) and Fordham (Nov. 22) to Michie Stadium during the 2014 season.  All games at Michie Stadium will kick-off either at noon or 3:30 p.m. with times determined no later than May. 1. The Army/UConn game time will be announced at a later date.

Monken, hired in December 2013 as Army’s 37th head coach, will lead the Black Knights for the first time on Sept. 6 against Buffalo. He is one of the preeminent options coaches in the country and came to Army after four successful seasons at Georgia Southern. Monken garnered a 38-16 mark at Georgia Southern and led his team to the national semifinals in three consecutive seasons at the NCAA Football Championship Subdivison.
