He started at both the fullback and tailback positions, closing his tenure with 34 receptions for 387 yards (11.4 avg.) and five receiving scores. He earned a bachelor's degree in religious studies from Virginia in 2001, then returned for a fifth season that fall after sitting out a redshirt year as a freshman.
After departing Virginia, the native of Sandy Spring, Md., was signed as an undrafted free agent by the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League in April 2002. He was released at the end of training camp, but was signed to the Chicago Bears' practice squad in September 2002, and remained there throughout the year. Foreman was allocated to NFL Europe during the spring of 2003 and spent the season with the Barcelona Dragons.
A cousin of former New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys running back Richie Anderson, Foreman left professional football during the summer of 2003 and returned to the gridiron with his initial coaching assignment at West Point.
For the second straight season, the 25-year-old assists offensive coordinator Kevin Ross in guiding Army's running backs.
Foreman played a large role in helping Carlton Jones emerge as one of the nation's top running backs last fall.
