WEST POINT, N.Y. - Army freshman Kyle Wilson has earned both the Patriot League Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week and Army Athletic Association Athlete of the Week honors for his performance in the Black Knights' win versus Binghamton on Nov. 16. Wilson led the team with 25 points, the highest-scoring game by an Army rookie since the 1998-99 season.

Wilson made nine of his 11 field goal attempts, including all three shots from three-point range, and was 4-for-5 from the free throw line. He also added four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 28 minutes of work.

The Mission Viejo, Calif., native has reached double figures in two of his three games, and is Army's second leading scorer at 14.7 points per game. He is shooting 55.2 percent (16-29) overall and 60.0 percent from three-point range.

Wilson is the third Army player to cop Rookie of the Week honors in the last two seasons.

The Black Knights are off to a 2-1 start and start a stretch of three straight road games on Tuesday versus St. Francis (N.Y.).
