TIP-OFF TIDBITS
► Patriot League Tournament seeding is on the line Saturday when the Black Knights end the regular season at Lehigh. Army will finish second with a win and a Lafayette loss versus American. The Mountain Hawks face the same scenario, needing a win and a Lafayette loss to claim the No. 2 spot. A Lafayette win makes the Leopards No. 2, the Mountain Hawks No. 3 and Army No. 4.
► An Army victory on Saturday would reach a number of program milestones. It would clinch the Black Knights’ first winning season since the 1984-85 team went 16-13. A win would also mark a program record ninth league victory. Army’s previous Patriot League high-water mark was six. The 1986-87 squad went 8-6 during Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). Army is currently riding two program record winning streaks. The Black Knights have won five straight Patriot League games and four straight Patriot League road games.
► The Black Knights currently own a 6-8 road record. Since the 1976-77 team won 10 road games, no Army team has won more than seven games on its foes’ home courts.
► The Black Knights are coming off a hard-fought 69-62 win over Holy Cross. Army shot just 35.1 percent overall and 32.0 percent from three-point range. It was the first time this season the Black Knights won a game in which it shot below 40.0 percent. It was also the teams’ first win this season when its opponent had a higher shooting percentage. Army outscored the Crusaders from the free throw line, 21-12.
► Senior Ella Ellis scored 31 points, including 23 in the second half, to lead the Black Knights. It was Ellis’s second 30-point effort in the last three games (34 vs. Colgate). Ellis has scored 30-or-more three times this season, the most by an Army player since Jarell Brown had three in 2007-08. The Houston native’s scoring average is up to 17.5 per game overall and 17.8 points per game in league play. He ranks second in the conference in both categories.
► Ellis moved into sixth place on Army’s all-time scoring list with 1,528 points. He is just 16 points short of passing Chris Spatola for fifth place. Spatola will be in attendance on Saturday, serving as the CBS Sports Network analyst.
► A win on Saturday would split the season series with the Mountain Hawks. The only team to defeat Army twice this season is Bucknell. The Black Knights swept Lafayette, American and Holy Cross.

A WIN OVER LEHIGH WOULD …
► Extend Army’s program record Patriot League winning streak to six games and match its longest winning streak since a six-game non-conference run during the 2006-07 season.
► Snap a four-game losing streak to Lehigh.
► Extend Army’s Patriot League record win total to nine.
► Clinch the Black Knights’ first winning season since a 16-13 record in 1984-85.
► Extend Army’s program record Patriot League road winning streak to five games.
