TIP-OFF TIDBITS
► Army is back on the road Wednesday night when they travel to Colgate. The Black Knights enter the mid-week action in third place in the Patriot League at 5-1. Both American and Boston University remain unbeaten at 6-0. After a 1-6 start, the Black Knights have won eight of their last 10 games and are off to their best conference start in program history.
► The Black Knights are 3-0 on the road in Patriot League play. A victory in Hamilton would match the program record for consecutive conference road wins set last season. Army has historically struggled on the road against the Raiders, going 8-25 since 1950. The Black Knights have won two of the last three meetings at Cotterell Court, but fell to the Raiders in overtime last season, 93-90.
► Army is coming off a 74-67 home victory over Bucknell. The win snapped a seven-game losing streak versus the Bison. Kyle Wilson scored 28 points, including a career-high 14 free throws. Josh Herbeck added 18 points, drilling all six of his three-point tries. Herbeck's fifth three put Army on top for good and his final triple landed from 30 feet out at the end of the shot clock, giving Army a five-point cushion with less than a minute to go. Rookie Tanner Omlid scored five points, grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds, made four steals, handed out two assists and blocked one shot.
► Wilson ranks second in the Patriot League, scoring 19.0 points per game. He is also second during conference play at 20.3 points per contest. Wilson is shooting  45.5 percent from three-point range in league play (.455) and has moved into third place on the Black Knights' career three-point accuracy ledger (.405; 70-173).
► Army scored its win over Bucknell without the services of Tanner Plomb who was out with an illness. Plomb scored a career-high 29 points in his last outing against Holy Cross and ranks third in the league during conference play with an 18.8 points per game scoring average. Plomb's .607 field goal percentage during Patriot League action ranks third, while he leads the league at 54.5 percent (12-22) from distance.
► The point guard tandem of Dylan Cox and Matt Gramling combined for 14 points and three assists without committing a turnover against Bucknell. Cox has not turned the ball over in the last two games and leads the Patriot League with an 8.3-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio (25/3) since the start of conference play.

A WIN OVER COLGATE WOULD ...
► Be Army's fourth straight Patriot League road win, matching a program record.
► Be the Black Knights' ninth win in their last 11 games.
► Be Army's 11th win in its last 14 Patriot League regular-season outings.
► Put Army two games above the .500 mark for the first time this season.
► Be Army's best seven-game start to Patriot League play (6-1) in school history.
► Put Army five games above the .500 mark in Patriot League play for the first time in Academy history.
► Make head coach Zach Spiker just the second Army coach to win at least 10 games in five straight seasons. He would be the first since Bobby Knight had a record six-season run from 1965-1971.
► Put Spiker in a tie for fifth place on Army's all-time victories list (George Hunter, 63).

THE ARMY-COLGATE SERIES
► The Army-Colgate rivalry dates back to the 1904-05 season. The Raiders are the Black Knights' second-most common opponent behind Navy.
►  The 112 games in the all-time series have been split down the middle, 56-56.
► The Black Knights have won five of the last seven in the series. Seven of the last 14 games have been decided by four points or less and/or in overtime.
►  After losing six straight games in Hamilton from 2004-10, Army has won two of its last three trips to Cotterell Court. The Raiders won last year's meeting in overtime, 93-90.
