Army plays its final regular-season road contest Wednesday night at Holy Cross. Tip-off at the Hart Center is scheduled for 7 p.m. The Black Knights are going for their third sweep of the season after taking all four games from Navy and Colgate.

Junior F Ella Ellis scored a team-high 16 points and became the 28th Army player to score 1,000 career points, but the Black Knights (12-15, 5-7 PL) could not overcome 32.7 percent shooting and 15 turnovers in a 74-50 loss to American (18-9, 9-3 PL) in Patriot League men's basketball action on Saturday afternoon at Christl Arena.

The Army men's basketball team welcomes the American Eagles to Christl Arena on Saturday afternoon. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m. The Black Knights have won two in a row, defeating Navy and Colgate. Army boasts a 9-4 record at West Point this season and has won seven of its last nine outings on the banks of the Hudson.
