WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army baseball team's home opener versus Quinnipiac, scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, has been canceled due to unplayable conditions. No make-up date has been announced at this time.

Winter Storm Ukko swept through the Hudson Valley on Monday evening, dumping upwards of six inches of snow at West Point. The snow blanketed the playing surface at Doubleday Field, causing Wednesday's game to be shelved.

Provided that the snow melts and the field becomes playable, Army will host NYIT and Columbia in a split doubleheader on Saturday, March 23, beginning at 12 p.m. Army is also slated to host NYIT on Sunday, March 24, beginning at 2 p.m.
