LEWISBURG, Pa. - Sophomore Ashley Zeitvogelset an Academy pole vault record with her winning performance of 12 feet, 8 inches in sparking Army the final day as the women finished sixth at the 2014 Indoor Patriot League Indoor Championships hosted by Bucknell.

Newest member Boston University dominated the field to capture the team title with 210 points. Lehigh was a distant second (130) followed by Bucknell (99.5) and Navy (99) with Holy Cross (92), Army (54.50), Lafayette (53), Colgate (19), Loyola (13) and American (10) rounding out the standings.

Zeitvogel's first-place performance met the ECAC-qualifying standard along with breaking the school mark of 12-5 ½ set by Kaci Clarkthree years ago. Zeitvogel's previous best (12-3 ½) was recorded against Navy this year.

"The women's final team placing is not indicative of where they were," noted head coach Troy Engle. "We had a couple of injuries that plagued us and a few holes in some events, but everyone was very competitive and fired up with an unbelievable spirit.

"The introduction of Boston University to the conference changed the entire complexion of the meet. They are incredible, and are one of the strongest teams in the East."

Army's postseason will continue for the athletes who qualified for the ECAC Championships with competition slated to begin March 8-9 in Boston, Mass.
