WEST POINT, N.Y.  – The Army swimming and diving teams return to Annapolis, Md., for the second time this season on Saturday, Feb. 1, when the Black Knights make the trek to the United States Naval Academy’s Lejeune Hall to compete at the All Comers Invitational.

The event, which will serve as Army’s final tune-up before returning to Annapolis for the Patriot League Championships (Feb. 19-22), is slated to get underway at 12 p.m.

The Army men are coming off a three-team sweep over conference rivals American and Boston University in addition to host George Mason. The Black Knight women, meanwhile, picked up a victory over the Eagles but fell to the Terriers and Patriots.

Sophomore Chris Szekely leads the men’s team collecting at least two first-place victories in every meet thus far. Senior divers Zack Woods and Josh Urnezis have also had a large contribution in this season’s success each dominating the one and three meter boards. Both Woods and Urnezis have earned recognition from the Patriot League as Male Diver of the Week once this season.

Freshman Ariana Bullard, who has been named Patriot League Female Swimmer of the week twice this season, continues to lead the Black Knight women.

Following Saturday’s meet, Army will take three weeks off before traveling back to Annapolis for the Patriot League Championships.
