Day One Results

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Freshman Josh Urnezis placed 18th off the three-meter board to lead Army's four-man contingent at the NCAA Zone 'A' Championships on Friday at the Alumni Arena Natatorium on the campus of the University at Buffalo.

Urnezis qualified for the finals in the three-meter event after piling up 275.25 points in the preliminaries. The first-year diver then racked up 275.05 markers in the finals en route to a combined score of 522.30.

Junior Chris Nguyen (269.25 points), freshman Zachary Woods (255.35) and junior Chad Drake (193.65) also competed, but failed to reach the finals.

Army will return to action at the NCAA Zone `A' Championships on Saturday, March 10, when the Black Knights compete off the one-meter board.
