Athletic Communications Assistant

The Army Athletic Association announced the hiring of Harrison Antognioni to the Athletic Communications staff as an assistant for the 2013-14 academic year.

Antognioni serves as the primary contact for the Black Knights' men's soccer, men's tennis, sprint football and wrestling teams.

Antognioni comes to West Point after working as an athletic communications intern at Saint Michael's College in Colchester, Vt. While at Saint Michael's, he assisted with all publicity and media relations duties for the college's 21 sports, including the nationally ranked men's lacrosse team.

Prior to the aforementioned role, Antognioni worked as a student assistant in athletic communications during all four years as an undergraduate at Saint Michael's, and earned the George "Doc" Jacobs Award for outstanding contribution to the athletic department as a senior. Antognioni graduated from Saint Michael's with a bachelor's degree in Media Studies in 2012.

Antognioni's previous communications experience includes internships at the Burlington Free Press during the spring of 2012, and with the Green Mountain Rock Crushers, a first-year professional ice hockey team, in the summer of 2011.

A native of Bennington, Vt., Antognioni resides in West Point, N.Y.
