WEST POINT, N.Y. -
A busy Saturday lineup at West Point that includes the 2014 lacrosse opener, followed by the Army-Navy basketball doubleheader and finishing with hockey against AIC, fans are reminded to take proper measures to expedite their arrival to all four events.
In a game moved due to impending weather, lacrosse opens the day against Massachusetts at 11 a.m. at Michie Stadium. Women's basketball tips off against Navy at 1:30 p.m. with the men following with a 4 p.m. start against the Mids. Hockey rounds out the day with a 7:05 p.m. faceoff at Tate Rink.
Fans are reminded that entering any of West Point's gates should plan accordingly for delays at the gates. All vehicles are subject to search at the security checkpoint, and anyone over the age of 16 must present a valid government-issued ID (drivers license, passport) at the gate. Please be advised that the Department of Defense (DoD) lane is for those with DoD ID cards only.
Once through the gates, fans are to follow the direction of law enforcement and parking personnel.
