WEST POINT, N.Y. - Army football fans should mark Tuesday, Dec. 1 on their calendars.

With the holiday shopping season in full swing and thoughts of Army fans turning to the annual Army-Navy game presented by USAA, Army football fans can get a jump on 2010 and this year's bowl season when season tickets for the Black Knights' 2010 home campaign as well as tickets to this year's EagleBank Bowl go on sale Tuesday. With a win over arch-rival Navy on Dec. 12 in Philadelphia, Army will earn a bid to this year's EagleBank Bowl, to be played on Dec. 29 in Washington, D.C. Season tickets for 2010 as well as the EagleBank Bowl tickets will go on sale Tuesday at 8 a.m.

For the second straight year, the Army Athletic Association will place its football season tickets on sale prior to Jan. 1 for the following season. The early sales campaign provides fans the option of purchasing season ticket packages in time for the holidays.

As an added bonus, those customers responsible for purchasing the first 150 full season tickets will be afforded the choice of a matching number of one of two special incentive packages. Fans included amongst that group will receive a matching number of pregame onfield passes for next month's Army-Navy Classic in Philadelphia, or invitations to a preseason barbecue next August with the Army football coaching staff. Fans must have purchased tickets to this year's Army-Navy football game on Dec. 12 in order to be eligible for the special pregame on-field experience at Lincoln Financial Field. This proved to be a highly popular event last year, when President George W. Bush visited with Army fans onfield during the pregame period.

Fans wishing to purchase season ticket packages to the Black Knights' five-game home slate can do so at a rate of $150.
Additionally, all full season purchasers will be provided with a reserved parking pass for the entire five-game home slate.

Army's 2010 home schedule features dates with Hawai'i (Sept. 11), North Texas (Sept. 18), Temple (Oct. 2), VMI (Oct. 30), Air Force (Nov. 6).

Thanks to a new five-year agreement with CBS College Sports Network that will run from 2010 through 2014, all Army home games will be televised live nationally. Kickoff times will be scheduled for either noon or 3:30 p.m. and set no later than May 1, 2010.

Due to the limited number of tickets dispersed to the Army Athletic Association for Notre Dame's home game against the Black Knights at Yankee Stadium, only full season ticket account-holders who are A-Club members will have an opportunity to request Army-Notre Dame tickets from the Army Athletic Association's allotment. Tickets to all away games, including the Notre Dame tilt, will go on sale in early 2010.

Should Army defeat Navy and become bowl eligible for the first time since 1996, the Black Knights would be poised for their first appearance in our nation's capital on Dec. 29, taking on an undetermined opponent in the second EagleBank Bowl. The game will be played in fabled RFK Stadium with a 4:30 p.m. kickoff.

Beginning Tuesday, fans will be able to purchase individual game tickets from Army's allotment. Additionally, two options will be provided to fans unable to attend the game but willing to purchase tickets and donate to their choice of worthy causes. Fans can purchase bowl tickets that will be donated to the Corps of Cadets through the "Send a Cadet to the Capitol" program, or fans can opt for a similar program that will send Wounded Warriors to the contest.

As an added bowl game incentive, individuals purchasing a group of at least 50 tickets (100, 200, 300 or 400 level seating applies) to the EagleBank Bowl from Army's allotment will automatically gain the right to purchase two tickets to next year's Army-Notre Dame game at Yankee Stadium. Army fans are urged to purchase EagleBank Bowl tickets from the Army Ticket Office in order to sit in the specially designated area for West Point fans and to aid the Black Knights' future bowl prospects.

Fans wishing to purchase 2010 season tickets or 2009 EagleBank Bowl tickets can do so at the Army Ticket Office, by phone at 1-877-TIX-ARMY or online at www.goARMYsports.com. beginning Dec. 1.
