Javelin: 201-1

ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-American ... Patriot League Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Scholar-Athlete of the Year ... cracked the Academy’s all-time top-10 list as a freshman ... qualified for NCAA Regionals last year ... top collegiate javelin finisher in all events entered last season ... has made big improvements during career at Army ... is stronger than ever after phenomenal fall training ... projected to surpass personal best by 10-15 feet ... excellent student ... strong leader ... poised to compete for one of the top spots in the conference this season and repeat as a regional qualifier.

2009: Qualified for IC4A Championships in the javelin with winning throw of 193-0 at Yale Springtime Invitational ... placed fourth at Patriot League Outdoor Championships with season-best throw of 199-9.

2008: Opened the outdoor season with a win at the Bulls Invitational with an IC4A qualifying throw of 193-03 ... throw was over five feet better than second-place competitor ... followed that with a win at the Dick Shea Open and was the top collegiate finisher (second overall) at the Auburn Tiger Track Classic ... topped that by winning the Army-Navy meet and bettering his IC4A qualifier with a throw of 199 feet ... earned second team Academic All-American honors after earning first team laurels for District I ... named Patriot League Scholar Athlete of the Year.

2007: Established personal best throw of 201-1 to finish sixth at the IC4A Championships ... placed fifth at the Patriot League outdoor meet with a throw of 200-8 ... finished third in the event against Navy with a toss of 195 feet.

2006: Finished third at Patriots with a personal-best heave of 197-4 ... qualified for the IC4A Championships ... placed 19th (180-7) ... took fourth vs. Navy (180-3).

High School: Graduated from Bozeman High School in 2005 ... earned a pair of varsity letters in track and field, throwing the javelin ... selected to the all-state team as a junior ... placed fifth in the state in the javelin that year ... named school’s MVP thrower as a junior ... member of the National Honor Society ... two-time academic all-state honoree on the track ... earned honor once in football as well ... served as student body president.
