Track Bio

Last Season: Heinecke was among the squad’s top-seven runners throughout the year.  She scored for the team in the Army Open, posting a fourth-place finish overall, and finished in the top-five again the next meet versus Cornell.

2008 Outlook: As a senior, Heinecke will provide leadership for the team and will look to break into the scoring line-up more this season.

The Book on Heinecke: A graduate of Hobart High School in Hobart, Ind., Heinecke garnered numerous honors both academically and athletically while in high school. She was the secretary of the National Honor Society and earned academic all-conference honors three-straight years. She was all-state in track and field and all-conference in cross country, golf and basketball. The MVP of the track and field team for two-straight years, Heinecke lists reading, shopping, going to the beach and spending time with friends and family as her hobbies.
